The evolution of casino games

roulette table and players

It used to be that if you wanted to play any of the casino classics like roulette and poker, you’d have to get yourself down to a casino. This was fair enough if you lived in Vegas or Atlantic City, and a relative few other places around the world, but not so convenient for the vast majority of the world’s population.

In the last decade or so, though, the casino world has been revolutionized by the arrival of online casino sites. Now anyone over the age of 18 with internet access can gamble anytime. And even more recently, that’s changed again – so you can not only gamble anytime, it can also be anywhere. There’s a choice of online casino games from ca.32red.com which are now available to play on the casino’s mobile app, so you can have access to your gaming favorites wherever you are, provided that you have an internet connection.

Of course, it’s not just 32 Red that’s gone mobile. Many other casino sites also offer a similar deal, but with 32 Red, there are special loyalty points to be earned too. You can enter Free Chip Friday, for example, where certain players are chosen to be awarded with free mobile casino chips. To qualify, you simply need to play on your mobile during that week. Winners are notified by SMS and the prizes can range from $5 to $500. It’s really simple to download the mobile game apps to your device. Just choose the game you wish to play and then fill in the details on the window that appears on screen.

Currently there are 18 mobile casino games on offer from 32 Red including blackjack, baccarat, slots, roulette and keno. For those of you who like to go for the big jackpots there’s Mega Moolah and Major Millions to play too.

With so many games now available on your smartphone, there really is no limit on when you play casino games. It’s a perfect way to keep yourself amused on the commute to and from work, as long as you’re not driving, of course! And if you have to wait in line at the doctor’s or another appointment, there’s now an entertaining alternative to reading the well-worn magazines in the waiting room!

The only thing you have to bear in mind, of course, is how much your entertainment is costing you. As long as you keep a lid on your spending though, you can make casino games a fun thing that you do now and then, rather than any cause for concern for your financial well-being!

A Perfect Summer Breeze in Your Home, Whenever You Want

31-940x530

Are you one of those people who want what they can’t have? I know I sometimes am. That’s why while I’m excited for the arrival of Fall and the cool weather and perfect days it brings, there’s a part of me that’s going to miss those Summer breezes that break up the most heated days and can stop the world with just how great they feel, and reinvigorate a scorched soul during even the hottest times.

While the naturally occurring Summer breeze may be seeing its last days for this year, thanks to our good friend technology, and an ambitious design by inventor Fanni Csernatony, we may soon be able to have a perfect breeze through our homes, at any time of the year, and as naturally as possible.

It’s called the SEAbreeze, and it actually consists of two vase like objects. The first uses seawater and serves as a humidifier, in that its job is to produces clean air with a salty smell throughout the room. The other piece, a dehumidifier, takes that clean air and converts it into a genuine breeze that fills the area between the two units. Not only that, but it can take the moisture from the air and produce natural and clean drinking water in its lower sections.

An already amazing design, the whole set up gets more incredible when you take into account the impressive looks the early models have, their completely quiet functionality, and the fact that the two pieces can also sensor the current levels of a room to make sure that both parts are functioning at optimal levels to produce the best conditions possible.

Only in the early design phases, and trying to win a design competition at the moment, the SEAbreeze may be quite a distance from store shelves, but hopefully it will be available by next summer when you can comfortably recreate the perfect beach breeze in your own home, without having to try to tempt a similar one with an open window, and for the months beyond when you’re Summer dreaming.

The All-In-One Pandora Looks Destined to Be the Future

With phablets finding its way into the dictionary (along with twerking, which….well let’s leave that be), it’s pretty safe to say the hybrid style of devices is here to stay and will continue to be a major part of technology moving forward.

Just when you think you’ve seen it all though, comes the ultimate potential hybrid device, the Pandora.

Billed as a desktop/laptop/tablet hybrid, what separates the Pandora from just about every other similar device is a unique build that doesn’t make it natively comfortable as any of those three devices it can transform into, and instead allows it to truly become work with equal functionality in any form.

Measuring only 9mm thick, this impressive gadget can fold out into a 16:9 widescreen desktop monitor, while and L shape bend turns it into a 13 inch laptop complete with pop up keyboard for the lower half, which can then be folded back to form a Windows 8 powered 13 inch tablet. In any setup, the Pandora sports four speakers, a microphone, front and back cameras, and a flexible battery.

Further details such as the processing power and price are still incoming, so it’s still difficult to measure the full validity of this specific device, but whether or not you consider it to be the future of gadgets, it’s hard to argue that a design of this nature one day will be.

French Fry Vending Machine….That is All

While there is some debate if we have the Belgians or the French to thank for the french fry, it’s an argument that’s now entirely irrelevant as the Belgians have recently perfected the food by creating a french fry vending machine.

Now unlike those crappy hot fries Andy Capp has been trying to pawn off on you for years, these vending machine fries are the real deal, as for about $3.40 you get a cup of crispy fries just like momma used to buy them from your favorite fast food joint, and even a complimentary squirt of mayonnaise or ketchup.

You may have some, very valid, questions concerning the quality of vending machine french fries, and some equally worrisome queries regarding how well vending machine condiments hold up, but frankly not wanting a cup of french fries and dipping sauce for under 4 bucks in about a minute and a half is simply un-American.

Of course for the moment this machine of wonder and fried joy is only available in Belgium, but if you think there is a chance a machine that dispenses cheap bad decisions for your supposed nourishment won’t be coming stateside, you simply haven’t been paying attention the last half century or so.

A New Way to Get Your Caffeine Fix Without Harshing Any Vibes

I regularly find myself grateful that caffeine is a socially acceptable addiction, as without the ability to consume it in its many forms throughout the course of the day I may just regularly snap on those around me for really no good reason at all.

Now I’m pretty classic when it comes to getting my fix, as a cup of black coffee (anything else is just sugar milk) usually does it, but I have given in to trendy caffeine injection systems like Red Bull and 5 Hour Energy when I’m looking to just really tweak out.

Undoubtedly the trendiest way to catch a ride on the caffeine dragon is currently being funded on indiegogo and goes by the name of Sprayable Energy (or “The Spray” as it’s called on the streets).

“The Spray” is a small bottle that produces a mist of 100% pure sweet lady caffeine. Simply spray yourself with it (2-4 is the recommended amount) and you’ll gain a sustained energy boost, supposedly free of the dreaded crash and other side effects. This is accomplished through the delivery system, as the spray allows caffeine to enter your body naturally, rather than the shock and awe method you get with energy drinks and the like.

Portable, handy, and apparently frighteningly effective, this looks like the perfect insta-boost delivery system for those night owls/students/hard workers of the world, but some questions do remain. For instance, if I spray an entire bottle on someone while they are sleeping, will I ensure that they are now up for days? In fact, are there any safeguards whatsoever to prevent this from being used as an offensive weapon for absolutely hilarious pranks?

I hope not, because while this is a questionable, but intriguing, way of caffeine delivery, it is a potentially unrivaled pranking device, which is what I’ll be using it for should I invest in the $15 asking price required for a bottle on the funding page.
